I’m Maria Claps and I’m an expert on women’s changing bodies (aka perimenopause and menopause) because I’ve graduated from it and earned an honorary degree from the School of Hard Knocks. Yup, I had terrible PMS and it wasn’t until I figured out that it was a hormone imbalance that I found relief. I’ve also come out on the other side of the “big change” (aka menopause) so I can help you with that too.
Besides lifelong study and personal experience, I’m also a certified health coach, functional diagnostic nutrition practitioner and a Gottfried Institute-trained natural hormone expert. I’m also currently studying with the lovely Jenny Burrell, out of the UK, in a program called “3rd Age Women’s Health”.
Oh, I’m also a mom to four grown children. So by default, you can call me a life coach too. What I really mean, is that I get it.
Wherever you are in your health at the moment, there is always room for improvement. I believe one of the reasons we’ve become so collectively unhealthy is because we’ve stopped listening to our bodies. Basic literacy of the female hormonal systems is our birthright.
That’s where I come in. I help women balance their hormones and listen to their bodies so they can live life on their terms.
